If you change your mind or you are not 100% happy with the product, please return it to us with the proof of purchase within 14 days from the date of dispatch and we will refund you in full, including the original postage*. This refund may take up to 14 days after we have received your item. The item must be returned to us unused, in it’s original packaging which must be in re-usable and in the condition it was delivered to you. You will be responsible for the return postage. Your statutory rights are not affected.
*Original postage costs cannot be refunded for International Destinations or orders which have been dispatched using an Express Delivery Service.

Shortages, Non-Delivery, Damaged and Incorrect/Not-as-described Items
For all items that are refused delivery there will be a 10% handling fee.
We will replace the related items as soon as you report the problem to us subject to the following conditions. If we are unable to replace the item, we will refund you in full. For shortages, you must notify us in writing(email accepted) no later than 3 calendar days after delivery. Shortage Items do not include out-of-stock items of which you have been notified prior to dispatch (and appear as such on your dispatch/delivery note);
For non-deliveries, 10 working days (20 working days if outside of UK) must have elapsed after we dispatched the items before a claim can be made
For damaged or incorrect/not-as-described items, you must notify us in writing no later than 3 calendar days after delivery. We will ask you to return the related items back to us either before the replacement can be sent to you, or within 2 working days after the replacement is dispatched, at our discretion. We will refund you the return postage only if you include the receipt of the return postage. The Maximum return postage we can refund is the equivalent cost of Royal Mail 2nd Class "Recorded Signed For" Delivery for up to 1kg. If you are unable to post the item because it is very bulky or heavy, we will arrange a collection upon your request.
If you urgently need your parts we recommend that you place and pay for a new order while we process your return and/or refund; please include the order number of the parts being replaced and a brief description of what error occurred so we have more information to serve you correctly and efficiently. By dealing with your returns/refunds separately to your new orders we are able to give you a swifter and better service. If you are willing to wait until your refund/return is processed we are more than happy for you to do so, however we advise that this is a much longer process.

Responsibility of returns
All returned items must be wrapped, packaged and labelled carefully, including those collected by courier. If a returned part is damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging then you are liable for the price of the item.

Refund turnaround:
Refunds may take up to 14 days after we have received the returned item to enter your bank account, and may only be paid back into the account which paid for the original order.
Your statutory rights are not affected.

General

The presentation of merchandise in our internet shop does not represent any legally binding contractual offer on our part, but is instead a non-binding invitation to the consumer to order goods.  This site is subject to errors and mistakes, particularly with regard to availability of products. Sales only take place as long as supplies last. Only if you order from our online shop will you receive an order confirmation by email. However, this does not constitute our acceptance of your order, but only informs you that we have received your order. Only after confirmation of availability from Tanks Classics Ltd does a sales contract come about.

If a contract is concluded, that contract is concluded with;

Web Site information and samples on display are indicative only and any specifications, weights, measurements and technical data (whether relating to performance or otherwise) have been prepared by manufacturers and are for guidance only. Please also check that you order the correct quantity of parts you require as the pictures on the website are for a guide only and might not represent the total number included in one sale. Buyers are therefore required to check current specification, colours and measurements with manufacturers or the Company, prior to order, as manufacturers may alter specifications to improve products. Manufacturers also reserve the right to amend specifications, without notice, in order to improve products or where amendment becomes necessary and the Company shall endeavour to inform the Purchaser of any such amendment or change.

When ordered parts go in to backorder the delivery time can be 2-3 weeks from the date of order.

Limitations upon Liability

Advice given by agents or servants of this company during telephone/Internet orders is based entirely upon information given by the purchaser with no inspection undertaken. As such, all advice given is indicative only and all such advice should be checked by the purchaser prior to order. Where advice is given after visual inspection by agents or servants of this company, such advice shall amount to an opinion only. Additionally, goods supplied are supplied only to correspond to the purpose for which goods of that kind are commonly supplied and not alternative uses to which they may be put. No liability for failure can be accepted by this company for such alternative use, amendment or modification.
For trade buyers, the company is hereby excluded from any liability, howsoever arising, in respect of any express or implied condition, warranty or term, statement, representation whether statutory or otherwise, relating to the goods supplied. The trade buyer accepts that he is best placed to insure against losses which arise by virtue of any breach of this agreement and warrants that he carries adequate insurance in this respect.
Goods ordered by the Buyer may not be compatible with vehicles which have been modified, adapted or altered. Where goods ordered by the Purchaser are not compatible by reason of modification, adaptation or alteration, the Company may accept such goods back into stock entirely at its discretion, and shall either issue a refund or credit to the purchaser except where goods are specifically ordered for the purchaser where no such refund or credit will operate.

Where goods purchased by the buyer are alleged to be defective, the purchaser agrees to return such goods to the seller for inspection and report (without the seller replacing the said goods prior to such inspection). The purchaser also accepts that it is reasonable to inform the seller of any interruption, defect or other failure prior to contacting independent third parties or incurring expense and, in addition, to allow the seller to remedy the defect, failure or interruption. Parts modified or adapted by the purchaser shall no longer be warranted by the manufacturer nor shall the Company be liable for any failures resulting subsequent to modification as a result of such modification.
Competition goods are supplied for specialist use and are subject to extreme heat and stress whilst in use. Life expectancy and durability are greatly reduced and purchasers should note that any claim for failure/wear shall not be entertained by the Company and it is agreed that such use shall be a relevant circumstance for the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended). In addition, parts connected to parts supplied by this company may be placed under stress where specialist/competition parts are used, and purchasers should take advice from experts prior to purchase. Manufacturers may also limit guarantees when components are installed for competition use.

Where goods are defective, incorrectly supplied, delayed or otherwise in breach of the implied terms of the buyers statutory rights, all losses which result from loss of competition points, awards, loss of entry fees or other similar losses, are excluded and shall not be reclaimable from the Company. In addition, the company shall accept no liability for death or personal injury unless caused directly by the Companies own negligence.
No liability is accepted by the company where purchasers attempt to modify or install components supplied where it is known or ought reasonably to be known to the Purchaser that the part supplied is incorrectly supplied or otherwise not in accordance with the order.

The company accepts no liability in respect of failure to supply or other interruptions caused by matters beyond the reasonable control of the company.

These terms and this agreement (including an agreement concluded by means of distance communication) shall be interpreted in accordance with English Law and industry custom and practice, and English and Welsh courts shall have sole jurisdiction in respect of any dispute arising therefrom.
